The Great Turning

After months of rigorous planning Alison and I are ready to offer up the Wilderness Workshops in West Wartling. Embedded in the workshop is the consciousness of the Great Turning. The workshop is based on Joanna Macy's 'The Work that Reconnects.'

Whether you are familiar with the thoughts of the Great Turning or not, the point is that we have reached a time in our civilisation when we need to be different than how we have lived for millenia. But how?
This workshop offers a space and time to be in nature and to be within our inner nature. We might experience the pain of disconnections, and an anger for a loss of power to help our world. We each carry grief, for different reasons. Once we allow ourselves to acknowledge the pain and grief within our hearts, we can move through to a different kind of space. We might be able to relate to numerous types of power in nature and within our own inner nature. We can call on different powers to change, for our own sake and for the sake of the world.

This workshop will take place in the month of Scorpio. It will be cold out there so if you are planning to join us, do come prepared for the outdoors. We will have a great fire and good food.
